Fred Miller, CEO & Managing Partner, Atlanta Restaurant Exchange.

Fred has spent his career engaged in the Commercial Real Estate Financing Business. Most of his 30 years have been with the largest banks in the country as a specialist in major project financing. After retirement he joined forces with a partner and founded a company in Atlanta, specializing in the sale of Restaurants, Bars and Night Clubs. This niche market has a particular strength in the Atlanta Metro Area in that Atlanta rivals any city in the country for the diversity of its dinning and drinking options.  Fred and his  business partner, Doug Marranci, came to Atlanta with a huge store of experience for the brokerage business they chose. Fred has the real estate background and Doug has the restaurant / bar  operational experience. In addition to the sales aspect of their business they also have a consulting arm devoted to the hospitality industry. Fred is a native of Florida (Jacksonville). He received his BA from Sacred Heart College in Belmont N C and his masters at Queens College in Charlotte NC. He has taught as an adjunct at his alma mater. Fred makes his home in midtown Atlanta and feels that: “Atlanta has become my home town.” Fred and his partner took the bold step of starting their new enterprise in April of 2008, right on the cusp of the current recession. “It has been a very difficult time for us but we have survived and feel very positive about the upturn in the economy and the growth of our company. Even with the ‘downturn,’ Atlanta is a great place to be in business.”
