Summer Time and the sippin is easy! During the long summer days and nights several wines become instant hits because they are crisp, refreshing, low in alcohol and seriously delicious. In addition they offer lots of pleasure for not much money! So if you are looking for some perfect wine for casual aperitif or great compatible wine with light summer fare here are my Slam Dunks for quenching your thirst for wine in the Summer.

Pale green gold in color with a refreshing white fruit basket of peaches, apricots and citrus. Medium dry with great acidity. Served chilled with grilled shrimp and pineapple salsa.
