Mr. Deriso is the Chairman of Atlantic Capital Bank. He is a retired Vice Chairman of Synovus Financial Corp. in Columbus, Georgia. Mr. Deriso began his business career as a practicing attorney in Albany, Georgia in 1972, and was a partner in the law firm of Divine, Wilkin, Deriso, Raulerson, & Fields until 1991, when he became President of Security Bank and Trust Company of Albany, a Synovus bank. In 1997, he was elected Vice-Chairman of the Board of Synovus, a position that he held until his retirement on February 1, 2005.
Mr. Deriso has served on the boards of numerous organizations including Chairman of the Georgia Bankers Association, Chairman of the Program Management Team of the Georgia Rail Passenger Program, a member of the Board of Visitors of Emory University, a Trustee of Andrew College, a Trustee of Albany State College Foundation and of Darton College Foundation, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Deerfield-Windsor School, and President of the Dougherty Rotary Club. He currently is a member of the Board of Trustees of Emory University, a member of the board of directors of Post Properties, Chairman of the Board of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority (“GRTA”), and a member of the board of directors of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Deriso graduated from Emory University College where he received the Marion Luther Brittain Award. He received his J.D. with Distinction from Emory University School of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and served on the Editorial Board of the Journal of Public Law (now the Emory Law Journal). He also completed the Duke Advanced Management Program of the Fuqua School of Business.

Mr. Coffin is the Executive Vice President and Banking Group Executive of Atlantic Capital Bank. He oversees the Bank’s corporate and business banking division. Mr. Coffin’s background includes commercial, capital markets and corporate banking experience. Before becoming an officer of the Company, he spent ten years at Wachovia Bank, most recently in the position of Senior Vice President and Atlanta Commercial Banking Team Leader. Prior to this role, he was the Head of the Business Services Corporate Banking Group following Wachovia’s merger with First Union.
From 1996 through 2001, he held other sales management and origination roles, with client coverage responsibility throughout the Southeast. Prior to joining Wachovia in 1996, Mr. Coffin worked in New York in the Media and Telecommunications Group at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Company, Chemical Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank (through these two mergers).
Mr. Coffin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dartmouth College. He received a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, with a Finance and International Business concentration.

Mr. Shreiner is the Executive Vice President and Corporate Financial Services Group Executive of Atlantic Capital Bank. He has 20 years of experience in client and credit management with a diverse international and domestic background.
From 2002-2005 Mr. Shreiner served as the Managing Director and Group Head for Wachovia Securities’ Continental European Group. In that role, he supervised strategic direction, financial performance and client management of the corporate and investment banking team responsible for European corporations and their subsidiaries. He has extensive experience working with the European corporate market and with U.S.-based subsidiaries of global clients. He also worked as the Managing Director and Group Head for Wachovia Securities’ International Corporate Finance Portfolio from 2001 to 2003.
Prior to his work with Wachovia in Atlanta, Mr. Shreiner led the bank’s London branch during its transition from representative office to corporate banking branch. As the General Manager, he was responsible for setting market strategies for European corporate banking business and was the primary contact for UK and US bank regulators.
Mr. Shreiner graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce.
