Don Rountree, President of Rountree Group Communications Management
Don is president of Rountree Group Communications Management, a leading results-driven communications management agency that provides a fresh, creative approach to corporate image-building, public relations (traditional and emerging) and marketing communications.
Rountree Group has been in business for 25 years and has garnered more than 145 industry awards. In addition to agency management and vision, Don is hands on with client work and oversees the agency work with IPREX, a global consortium of 75 PR partner firms worldwide, for which he is a former executive committee member.
Previously, Don worked with the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Membership and Communications Department, where he assisted new and existing member companies build their business and improve their position in the business environment. As an active member in the community, he serves on several boards and committees, including the Public Relations Society of America/Georgia Chapter and two Christian-based boards, Vertical Passion and Bread of Hope. In 1998, he co-founded the Georgia Southern University Public Relations Advisory Board, remains active today. In 2009, he received the Alumni of the Year award from the Communications Department.
Don has a bachelor’s degree in communication arts with an emphasis in public relations and minor in business from Georgia Southern University.
