Tim has over 28 years of CFO and Controllership experience at companies ranging in size from $10 million to large Fortune 500 companies.  Tim spent his first seven years in the business world with Ernst and Young, a global Big 4 public accounting firms.  Tim then spent twelve years with a 60 location nationwide manufacturer and distributor of building materials as an internal auditor, tax guy, and Corporate Controller.  Tim’s final seven year stint in Corporate America was as the CFO for a network of commercial flooring dealers that was owned by an Atlanta based flooring manufacturer.

Tim’s last assignment as CFO was to shut down the 20 flooring dealers and terminate 1,100 employees after the parent company decided to exit the business.   After this experience, Ti m determined that Corporate America may not be the most secure place to earn several more years of paychecks.

After investigating several career opportunities, Tim decided to Join B2B CFO, the nation’s largest CFO services firm focusing on small and medium businesses.  Tim works part time with several different businesses, helping monitor the financial and operational performance of these businesses, which frees up the business owner to spend his time on the fun part of the business.    This allows the business owner to outwardly focus on selling and business development, while Tim focuses on the day to day minding of the business from the inside.
