    Good tips Ted. Often when people switch jobs they are so caught up with the new role, new co-workers, etc that they overlook some details like these. In my case I often end up working for smaller companies. So lots of this stuff doesn’t apply, but it is something you should be looking into if your new company offers this stuff. I know my ex had an old retirement savings plan with a previous employer that she has no idea how to access now.

    Thanks for the comment…people do often get “hung up in the moment” and quickly forget about future planning and what they are leaving behind (financially speaking)…
